The house is part of the town's C-K Autumnfest, which also includes a parade and other Halloween-themed fun. The Pumpkin House is the main attraction at the C-K Autumnfest, a festival started in 2010 for the Ceredo and Kenova area. People have come from every state and even other countries to see the elaborate decorations.

The 1891 Victorian home located at 748 Beech Street is listed on the National Historic Register and was once visited by President Grover Cleveland. It is also known as the Pumpkin House, because of the over 3000 hand-carved Jack-o- Lanterns which adorn it each Halloween. As the third most forested state, our country roads are vibrant with color and a sight to behold in the fall. Paid admission is required for entry to SkyPark at Santa’s Village.
